A. O. Smith Corp enters Vietnamese market

HA NOI (Biz Hub) — A. O. Smith Corporation from the United States marked its entry in the Vietnamese market in Ha Noi last week.

The American firm is one of the world's leading manufacturers of residential and commercial water heating equipment and water purification products for residential and light commercial applications.

At a ceremony held last week, the company said it entered the Vietnamese market after a three-year survey of the market demand, and then developed specific water purification products for the customers here. Phu Tien Limited Co has been selected as the corporation's official distributor in Viet Nam.

The company's water purification products, which are available in the Vietnamese market, use patented sidestream membrane technology that delivers more purified water to the consumer, prolonging the useful life of the membrane technology and reducing maintenance costs.

He said the company's vision was to be firmly established and recognised as the most prestigious water purifier product supplier in Viet Nam, thanks to the product differentiation with the most advanced and smart products with patented sidestream membrane technology and professional customer services.

The corporation was established in 1874, in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, the United States, where its current headquarters is also located. The corporation delivers products to residential and commercial customers in more than 60 countries, earning an annual revenue of US$2.4 billion. — VNS
