Saigon Co.op opened Co.opXtra Tạ Quang Bửu hypermarket in HCM City’s District 8 on November 15.

It is the sixth store under a joint venture between Saigon Co.op and NTUC Fairprice, Singapore’s leading cooperative.

Located in Central Premium Shopping Mall, the hypermarket spans approximately 3,000sq.m and offers over 30,000 essential products, including fresh and dry food, cosmetics, fashion, household items, and a range of ready-to-eat and ready-to-cook products.

Besides Vietnamese high-quality goods, which account for over 80 per cent of its goods, the hypermarket also offers premium products imported from Singapore, South Korea, Japan, the US, Europe, Australia, and New Zealand such as fruits, spices, food supplements, utensils, and cosmetics.

The new store also features a relaxation area for customers with a free bookshelf, a Kid Zone with exciting games for children, and other facilities to make shopping more enjoyable for a wider range of customers.

It is also equipped with AI-driven robots - an advanced marketing robot that created a sensation during its debut at Co.opXtra Long Bình last month - along with smart lockers, self-checkout counters and automatic noodle-cooking machines, enabling customers to experience the latest technology in modern retail.

To celebrate its grand opening, Co.opXtra Tạ Quang Bửu is offering promotions, including discounts of up to 70 per cent on 3,500 products, incentives for customers who register as Saigon Co.op member customers and a lucky draw programme with prizes such as an SH scooter, a side-by-side refrigerator, washing machines, microwave ovens, and vouchers. — VNS
