VietJet inks deal with Loterria Vietnam

HCM CITY (Biz Hub) – VietJet and South Korean fast food giant Loterria Vietnam signed a major strategic agreement in HCM City on Friday that will result in considerable value addition for customers of both parties.

The alliance will begin by supplying products and services through VietJet and Loterria Vietnam's respective online channels. Going forward, VietJet will offer customers more service choices by adding Loterria Vietnam's products on its inflight menu, which already includes nine delicious meals, served on both domestic and international routes.

Loterria Vietnam, meanwhile, will introduce VietJet's services through all of its global touch-points.

To celebrate this strategic partnership, VietJet has emblazoned an aircraft with Loterria Vietnam's logo, which boasts of bright red and yellow colours that are in perfect sync with the airline's own colours, which aim to reflect a spirit of youth and enthusiasm.

"We are delighted to diversify our inflight menu with Loterria Vietnam's products that will offer our valued passengers an even greater variety of delicious in-flight meals," said Luu Duc Khanh, VietJet's managing director.

Besides to striving to become one of Asia's best airlines, VietJet is also transforming itself into a consumer corporation and this strategic partnership with Loterria Vietnam will contribute to that goal by helping the airline add more value to its services and raise its standards to the highest quality, Khanh said.

"We are proud to be the first ever fast food brand to be featured on an aircraft in Viet Nam," said Kang Hyung Hee, managing director of Loterria Vietnam.

"Loterria Vietnam is also the first fast food supplier to VietJet. This agreement has further strengthened the bilateral relation of culture and cuisine between and Viet Nam and South Korea," he noted.

VietJet will launch a route connecting HCM City and Seoul this summer after opening daily flights between Ha Noi and Seoul. The flight duration is four hours and 10 minutes for the Ha Noi to Seoul flight and five hours and five minutes for the return journey from Seoul. — VNS
