DA NANG (Biz Hub) — The Da Nang College of Technology and Doosan Heavy Industries Viet Nam agreed to sign on March 6, a Memorandum of Co-operative Agreement to strengthen a comprehensive and sustainable collaboration.
Following the three-year agreement, both sides have agreed to boost an annual strategic internship programme, training and recruitment, teaching cooperation, a scholarship programme, and campus recruitment.
General Director of Doosan Vina, Ryu Hang-ha, said the agreement will ensure comprehensive cooperation between businesses and benefit the colleges.
Doosan will start its first recruitment of qualified students at the college this September.
Doosan Vina and the Yonkang Foundation have helped 877 students from 12 colleges and universities in HCM City, Quang Ngai, Quang Nam, Da Nang and Hue through scholarships totalling US$224,000 since 2008. — VNS
