HCM CITY (Biz Hub) — Viet Nam's fastest growing carrier VietJet announced that it will increase the frequency of flights on its international route linking HCM City and Singapore on May 30.
An extra daily round trip will be added to meet growing demand for low-cost air travel between the two hubs, VietJet said in its latest press release.
The airline added that with two round trips per day, the route will have a capacity of 5,040 seats per week, offering its passengers even more choices when planning their travel itinerary.
The new schedule will now see VietJet flights depart Tan Son Nhat International Airport at 8:55 a.m. and 2 p.m. (local time). Coming in the other direction, flights will depart Changi International Airport every day at 1:50 p.m. and 6 p.m. (local time). The flight duration is approximately two hours and five minutes.
In accordance with the airline's expansion plans, VietJet will welcome more brand new Airbus jets to its fleet this September. The airline currently operates 28 domestic and international routes, with a fleet of 21 Airbus aircraft. — VNS
