HA NOI (Biz Hub)– Shares climbed up on both national stock exchanges this morning.
The VN-Index on the southern bourse jumped 1.09 per cent to reach 506.81 points with 157 codes adding value in comparison with 42 losers.
More than 70.86 million shares were traded with a total value of VND887.57 billion (US$42.26 million).
The VN30-Index, tracking the city's largest shares by capitalisation and liquidity, gained 1.13 per cent to 566.1 points, with twenty-three stocks making positive gains and no losers.
On the Ha Noi Stock Exchange, the HNX-Index advanced 0.55 per cent to 64.28 points with a total vlue of VND237.71 billion ($11.31 million) on the exchange of 31.61 million shares.
The HNX30-Index rose 1.15 per cent to 122.17 points.— VNS
