HA NOI (Biz Hub) — Shares fell for most Asian investors on Friday, with the exception of those in Japan. The HNX Index lost 0.43 points to end at 61.42 in Ha Noi, while in HCM City the VN Index declined 9.30 points to close at 486.82.
China's benchmark Shanghai Stock Exchange Composite Index (SHCOMP) declined 9.67 points, levelling at 2,057.46, while the Hang Seng Index (HSI) lost 31.89 points to end at 21,863.51 in Hong Kong.
In Singapore, the Straits Times Index (STI) dropped 1.72 points to 3,087.7.
As the gainer today, the Nikkei 225 (NKY) climbed 295.38 points to 13,660.55 while the Topix Index (TPX) added 22.07 points, closing the session at 1,141.63 in Japan.— VNS
