HA NOI (Biz Hub) — Shares were mixed for Asian investors on Wednesday. The HNX Index lost 0.36 points to end at 62.29 in Ha Noi, while in HCM City the VN Index declined 2.11 points to close at 502.70.
China's benchmark Shanghai Stock Exchange Composite Index (SHCOMP) added 0.37 points, levelling at 2,072.96, while in Hong Kong, the Hang Seng Index (HSI) declined 152.56 points to 21,817.73. In Singapore, the Straits Times Index (STI) dropped 18.17 points to 3,110.6.
In Japan, the Nikkei 225 (NKY) added 27.95 points to 13,424.33 while the Topix Index (TPX) lost 3.53 points, closing the session at 1,121.74. — VNS
