HA NOI (Biz Hub) — Shares were down for Asian investors yesterday. The HNX Index lost 0.28 points to end at 62.65 in Ha Noi, while in HCM City the VN Index declined 6.21 points to close at 504.81.
China's benchmark Shanghai Stock Exchange Composite Index (SHCOMP) lost 13.01 points, levelling at 2,072.59, while in Hong Kong, the Hang Seng Index (HSI) declined 493.41 points to 21,970.29. In Singapore, the Straits Times Index (STI) dropped 47.50 points to 3,125.8.
In Japan, the Nikkei 225 (NKY) shed 361.75 points to 13,396.38 while the Topix Index (TPX) lost 23.86 points, closing the session at 1,125.27. — VNS
