General director of ABBank Cu Anh Tuan

HA NOI (Biz Hub) — An Binh Commercial Joint Stock Bank (ABBANK) has appointed Cu Anh Tuan to become the bank's general director, as of May 4.

Born in 1972, Tuan earned his bachelor's and masters degrees in finance and accounting in Australia.

He replaces former general director Pham Duy Hieu, who resigned for personal reasons.

Previously, Tuan was the bank's deputy general director in charge of finance and accounting, law, capital and investment.

With more than 20 years working in the banking industry, Tuan spent 3 years in Techcombank, 4 years in SCIC, as well as in large enterprises in Viet Nam.

Based in HCM City, bank activities remained stable after Q1 2015. The bank's total asset reached VND60.884 trillion (US$2.8 billion), with profits before taxes reaching VND93.249 billion ($4.3 million)— VNS
