VietJet increases flight frequency for holiday season

HCM CITY (Biz Hub) – VietJet will operate more flights on several domestic and international routes to provide an additional 30,000 seats for the coming holiday rush, the airline announced on April 27.

There will be additional flights on the HCM City- Ha Noi route, and on the routes from HCM City and Ha Noi to Da Nang, Phu Quoc, Nha Trang and Da Lat, besides Singapore and Thailand.

A day ago, VietJet launched a new route connecting Ha Noi and Quy Nhon, a beautiful beach city in Binh Dinh province, to boost trade and tourism ties between the two cities.

Initially, there will be seven weekly return trips on the new route. The flight duration per section is one hour and 35 minutes. The flight will depart from Ha Noi at 10.25am and arrive in Quy Nhon at 12.00pm. The return flight will depart from Quy Nhon at 12.35pm and land in Ha Noi at 14.10pm.

The country's fastest growing carrier will launch another new route from HCM City to Dong Hoi in the central province of Quang Binh on April 29. A new flight route between HCM City and Chu Lai in the central Quang Nam Province will be launched soon. — VNS
