HA NOI (Biz Hub) — Mead Johnson Nutrition Vietnam kicked off an event on promoting children's holistic brain development on Sunday at Giang Vo Exhibition Center.

The three-day event, jointly organised by the Pre-school Education Department (under the Ministry of Education and Training), Vietnam Pediatric Association (VPA), and Mead Johnson, is expected to draw the participation of leading nutritionists, psychologists, kindergarten education experts and hundreds of parents and children in Hanoi.

"We know that early nutrition has a lifelong, critical impact on the growth and development of children. To build a successful next generation, we need to provide the children of today with a solid foundation, right from the start of life", Ms. Gift Samabhandhu, General Director of Mead Johnson Nutrition Vietnam, noted at the opening ceremony.

"Pre-school is a key focus area in educational development, and is a time in which a combination of learning and playing is required. This meaningful event organized by Mead Johnson Nutrition Vietnam provides Vietnamese parents with the latest scientific information on how to ignite children's holistic brain development to help their children reach their full potential." said Ly Thi Hang, Deputy Head of the Pre-school Education Department.

At the Enfa A+ Brain Expo 2015, parents will have the opportunity to experience four missions that help further their child's brain development, from conception to 6 years old. Parents also will gain a deeper understanding of IMEC through unique activities, such as life in the womb, the brain development tunnel, a virtual presentation on how the brain works, a 3-D Brain Model, brain interaction with AR technology, and a mega-scale IMEC stimulation playground. — VNS
