HA NOI (Biz Hub)— Shares slightly rebounded during this morning's session. On the HCM City Stock Exchange, the VN-Index gained 0.7 per cent to 501.62 points. Gainers outnumbered losers by 93-56.
Despite an increase in trading value, liquidity was still low at just VND359.1 billion (US$16.9 million) and 15.5 million shares.
The VN30, composed of the exchange's top 30 shares, rose 0.4 per cent to 552.26 points. Only six blue chips declined slightly, while 17 others closed in the green.
On the Ha Noi Stock Exchange, although the HNX-Index slid 0.09 per cent, reaching 61.75 points, blue chips helped the HNX30 advanced by 0.02 per cent to 114.62 points.
With more than 10.5 million shares changing hands, trading value totalled VND95 billion ($4.4 million). - VNS
