HA NOI (Biz Hub)— On the HCM City Stock Exchange this morning, the VN-Index failed to retain gains, losing 0.01 per cent in the last minutes to reach 477.51 points.
The VN30, tracking the city's 30 leading shares, managed to rise 0.07 per cent to 532.07 points. Fifteen of the 30 shares finished the session up, while seven others closed down.
The overall trading value increased slightly compared to yesterday morning's figure, totalling nearly VND500.3 (US$23.5 million) on a volume of 20.1 million shares.
On the Ha Noi Stock Exchange, shares also retreated. The benchmark HNX-Index dropped 0.3 per cent to 60.44 points.
Liquidity was still dramatically low, with just seven million shares changing hands. They were worth VND51.4 billion ($2.4 million).
The HNX30, composed of the northern bourse's largest stocks in terms of capitalisation and liquidity, fell 0.7 per cent to 110.07 points. - VNS
