HA NOI (Biz Hub) —Asian stock markets ended uniformly up on Tuesday, with the exception of Viet Nam where Ha Noi's HNX Index dropped 0.56 points to 60.63, while in HCM City the VN Index lost 0.03 points to reach 472.67.
The benchmark Shanghai Stock Exchange Composite Index (SHCOMP) gained 24.66 points to sit at 2,123.11, while the Hang Seng Index (HSI) climbed 219.24 points to close at 22,394.58 in Hong Kong. Singapore's Straits Times Index (STI) edged up 2.23 points to finish on 3,057.9.
In Japan, the Nikkei 225 (NKY) climbed 405.52 points to end at 13,978.44 while the Topix Index (TPX) put on 31.40 points to reach 1,149.18.— VNS
