HA NOI (Biz Hub) —Asian stock markets ended mixed on Wednesday. In Viet Nam, Ha Noi's HNX Index dropped 0.45 points to close at 60.20, while in HCM City, the VN Index lost 0.72 points to finish the day at 71.45.
The benchmark Shanghai Stock Exchange Composite Index (SHCOMP) gained 4.51 points to sit at 2,127.62, while the Hang Seng Index (HSI) lost 68.36 points to close at 22,326.22 in Hong Kong. Singapore's Straits Times Index (STI) declined 33.32 points to finish on 3,021.5.
In Japan, the Nikkei 225 (NKY) climbed 75.43 points to end at 14,053.87, while the Topix Index (TPX) put on 7.12 points to reach 1,156.30.— VNS
