HA NOI (Biz Hub) —Shares across Asia closed up for the first time in three days on Tuesday except for Ha Noi, where the HNX Index lost 0.16 points to end at 61.23. In the south of Viet Nam, the VN Index gained 1.75 points to end at 502.22.
In China, the benchmark Shanghai Stock Exchange Composite Index (SHCOMP) closed up 23.53 points to reach 2,198.20 while the Hang Seng Index (HSI) in Hong Kong jumped 204.90 to close at 22,957.24.
The Straits Times Index (STI) in Singapore gained 12.93 points to finish at 3,149.5. In Tokyo, the Nikkei 225 climbed 41.29 points to end at 13,894.6, while the Topix Index (TPX) gained 2.55 points to finish at 1,150.13. — VNS
