HA NOI (Biz Hub)– Shares declined on both national stock exchanges this morning.
On HCM Stock Exchange, the VN-Index was 0.14 per cent lower and hit 499.75 points.
More than 49.73 million shares were exchanged, worth a total of VND781.29 billion (US$37.2 million).
During yesterday's session, thanks to a boost from bluechips, the VN-Index exceeded the 500-point level for the first time in six weeks. However, the trend reversed this morning on the southern city's bourse.
The VN30, comprising the city's 30 largest stocks, lost 0.02 per cent to close at 557.41 points. Eight codes ended lower while only two codes advanced.
On the Ha Noi Stock Exchange, the HNX-Index ended at 60.92, 0.75 per cent lower. – VNS
