HA NOI (Biz Hub) — The Hang Seng Index added 37.72 points to end at 23041.36 in Hong Kong on April 14.
The Shanghai Composite Index, in mainland China, gained 1.00 points to finish at 2,131.54. The Nikkei 225 lost 49.89 to finish at 13,910.16 in Tokyo, while the Topix Index slipped 1.33 points to close at 1,132.76.
The Straits Times Index edged up 15.77 points to end the day at 3,214.0 in Singapore, but both bourses in Viet Nam ended lower. The VN Index declined 4.46 points to close at 596.11 in HCM City, while the HNX Index lost 0.69 points to close at 86.79 in the capital city. — VNS
