HA NOI (Biz Hub) — Vietnam Sheet Metal 2016, the first-ever exhibition on sheet metal fabrication technology and machinery exhibition, will take place in the capital city from April 6 to April 8, 2016.

At the forthcoming expo, leading solution providers of sheet metalworking technologies will gather to present their innovative technologies, machineries and solutions to directly and timely match the needs of over 10,000 potential buyers, the event's organiser Thailand Reed Tradex announced on December 1.

The event will encompass all core sectors of the sheet metal working process presented by over 200 brands from 20 countries to forge out new possibilities and opportunities in the sheet metal industry in Viet Nam, it said.

"Viet Nam's industry has had strong stages of development and it has contributed in a large part to the rapid speed of economic growth. It is widely recognised that the manufacturing industry will play an important role in the success of Viet Nam's industrialisation by 2020," Duangdej Yuaikwarmdee, deputy managing director and general manager Vietnam of Reed Tradex Company, said.

"Meanwhile, the integration pressure on industrial products will increase when all free trade commitments are fully implemented by 2018. Vietnam Sheet Metal 2016 is being launched in order to support Vietnamese industrialists to be prepared to catch the trend from now, and will be a show which offers the maximum business opportunities, apart from a vast range of knowledge and information," he said.
