HA NOI (Biz Hub) — A delegation of 50 South Korean firms will attend the Korea-Viet Nam FTA Show in Ha Noi on December 2 and 3, the Korea Trade and Investment Promotion Agency (KOTRA) said.

During the show, the firms will introduce a wide range of products such as cosmetics, food, beverages and garments, besides consumer products, pharmaceuticals, medical equipment and electric and electronic equipment, in addition to industrial machines.

All these products will enjoy tax cuts after the Viet Nam-Korea Free Trade (FTA) Agreement comes into effect.

Four hundred Vietnamese businesses that desire to find Korean partners in the fields of agriculture, seafood and garments will also attend the show.

KOTRA Hanoi Director General Lee Kyu Seon said the trade agreement would open up new opportunities for business communities to speed up their co-operation. KOTRA has organised seven trade exchange events and three exhibitions in Ha Noi so far this year, as it appreciates the potential of Viet Nam's market. — VNS
