Shinhan Life Vietnam donated a sponsorship package of nearly VNĐ150 million to repair and purchase equipment for the SOS Children's Village Đà Nẵng's multi-function room on November 12.
This is the second consecutive year of Shinhan Life Vietnam's partnership with SOS Children's Village Vietnam. In 2022, Shinhan Life also presented 15 computers and community medicine cabinets to 15 families at the SOS Children's Village Hà Nội.
With activities focusing on learning and developing extracurricular skills for children in SOS Village in Đà Nẵng, Shinhan Life Vietnam wants to create conditions for children to have a private learning and entertainment space, increase their opportunities to access new knowledge skills and elevate their learning experiences.
Along with providing goods and equipment for the SOS Children's Village, Shinhan Life Vietnam also placed emphasis on fostering the independent development of each child.
Since June 2023, Shinhan Life Vietnam has collaborated with BNJ Vietnam to implement an educational programme for children and adolescents aged 15 to 25 at SOS Children's Village Vietnam. The programme, titled "iLead Leadership Values" by Dr. John C. Maxwell, is centred on understanding self-values and leadership principles.
In 2023, Shinhan Life Vietnam carried out many meaningful social activities targeting the younger generation, particularly those facing difficult circumstances, with the aim of providing them with a more promising future.
In September, Shinhan Life Vietnam visited and donated VNĐ150 million of treatment costs and over 120 gifts to leukemia pediatric patients at the HCM City Children’s Hospital in HCM City. The company distributed thousands of free meals on every holiday to pediatric patients and families at the HCM City’s Children's Hospital. In addition, it currently is continuing its initiative of providing over 50,000 free "Shinhan - An Bình" blood cancer policies for patients with blood cancers in Việt Nam.
