Phu Nhuan Jewelry Joint Stock Company (PNJ) yesterday opened a new jewelry store at 402-404 Tung Thien Vuong Street in HCM City’s District 8, raising its total number of retail stores to 242 nationwide.

PNJ opened 22 stores in the first five months of the year, with six in the north, one in the central region, four in the southwest, five in HCM City, and two in the southeast.

The company plans to open 70-80 new stores this year to raise the number to 300 this year.

In addition to expanding its distribution system, PNJ is also improving human resources training, especially the sales staff, so they can help customers choose suitable jewelry products.

To mark the opening, the new store is offering promotions until June 30, including a 10 per cent discount on PNJSilver products and 2-10 per cent on gold jewelry, and free gift pillows to customers with bills over VND700,000 (US$30.8). — VNS
