The Intel Products Viet Nam and the Higher Engineering Education Alliance Program (HEEAP) on December 16 awarded 109 scholarships to female students funded by university and college partners of HEEAP programmes.
The total value of the scholarships was VND708 million (US$31,200).
The 109 scholarship recipients are from 13 technical colleges and vocational schools.
From 2012 to 2015, the programme offered 436 scholarships to female students in HCM City and neighboring provinces at a total value of VND2.8 billion ($126,000).
HEEAP representatives also announced that the scholarship programme would be continued next year. Online applications can be submitted through September. — VNS
