Vietjet announced it has started selling tickets on a new route connecting Ha Noi with Siem Reap in Cambodia, slated to be operational from March 30, 2017.

Tickets will be made available on Thursday with prices starting at VND399,000 (US$17.4) for one way.The Ha Noi-Siem Reap route will be operated on a daily basis, with flight time of some one hour and 45 minutes.

The flights will depart from Ha Noi at 3.55pm and arrive in Siem Reap at 5.40pm (local time). Return flights will take off from Siem Reap at 6.40pm (local time) and arrive in Ha Noi at 8.25pm.

Siem Reap is one of the world’s most popular tourist destinations, thanks to its proximity to the world cultural heritage Angkor temples, Vietjet said, adding that the new routes are expected to meet the increasing travel demand of travelers from the two countries.

Earlier this week, Vietjet launched two new international routes -- Hai Phong-Seoul and HCM City-Kaohsiung. — VNS
