An Binh Commercial Joint Stock Bank (ABBANK) and the Liter of Light Vietnam Project have organised "An Binh Tet - Liter of Light 2020", which has presented a solar light system to five poor villages in Binh Phuoc Province’s Dak O Commune.
The solar light system worth nearly VND400 million (US$17,284) consists of 40 sets of street light pillars with large lighting bulbs, 60 sets of street light pillars with small lighting bulbs, and 100 portable solar lamps, among others.
The New Year gift will help illuminate public areas and roads leading to community areas in five poor villages (Bu Bung, Bu Khon, Village 3, Village 4, and Village 10), and support the civil defence force to have additional tools to patrol the border area of Bu Gia Map National Park. — VNS
