HA NOI (Biz Hub) ─ The ninth business delegation from the international section of the French business confederation, MEDEF International, will visit Viet Nam from December 2 to 4.

The French Embassy in Ha Noi announced this in a press release on December 1, adding that the delegation will be led by Frédéric Sanchez, president of the France-Viet Nam business council of the section.

Twenty French companies, including large firms such as Alcatel, Alstom and BNP Paribas, as well as GDF Suez, SNCF and leading small and medium-sized enterprises, will visit the capital and HCM City.

The delegation aims to promote business relations between the two countries, study the business environment and strengthen the partnership with domestic companies.

It will meet government officials in charge of economic issues and officials from the domestic private sector and financial institutions. French businessmen will also visit some French companies operating in HCM City's industrial zones.

"French companies are willing to share with the Vietnamese authorities and their private counterparts, the technologies and solutions that they can bring, and are dedicated to work for the greater development of Viet Nam, thanks to their international expertise and experience," the press release said.

"France is committed to be present and invest in the country in a long-term perspective. Much more can be developed between both countries, and French companies are willing to keep the dialogue and exchanges alive," it emphasised. ─ VNS
