HA NOI (Biz Hub) — Saigonpetro Gas reduced the price of a 12kg gas canister by VND13,000 ($0.6) to VND328,000 per canister on December 1.
Last month, the price was reduced by VND40,000 ($1.9) per canister.
The domestic and global gas prices have been falling rapidly since July. While the domestic price felt from VND400,000 ($19) per canister in July curently, the international price reduced from US$835 per tonne to $560 per tonne.
Gas distributors said that the price reduction in recent months was aimed at complying with the market rules, ensuring its stability as well as the rights and interests of the gas dealers and consumers. — VNS
