HA NOI (Biz Hub) — Stocks continued to rise on the HCM Stock Exchange this morning but slid on the Ha Noi bourse as trading was sluggish.
In HCM City, the VN-Index increased 0.79 per cent to 570.08 points despite the losers outnumbering the gainers by 123–62. Other 116 codes closed flat.
Among the large-cap shares, PV Gas (GAS) continued to climb another 3.8 per cent to stand at VND108,000 (US$5.12) per share. Others including Hoang Anh Gia Lai Co (HAG), FPT Corp (FPT), Military Bank (MBB) and Phu My Fertiliser (DPM), as well as Eximbank (EIB), also rose from 0.6 to 2 per cent.
The VN30 rose 0.17 per cent to stand at 611.98 points.
Over 41.4 million shares, worth VND616 billion ($29.2 million), were traded by the end of the morning.
FLC Group (FLC) was again the most active codes on trades of 6.6 million shares, changing hands at VND10,700 per share.
