HA NOI (Biz Hub) — Most Asian stock indices ended on a high on Monday.
In Tokyo, the Nikkei 225 added 46.76 points to close at 15,124.00, and the Topix Index edged up 0.21 point to reach 1,234.78.
The Hong Kong Hang Seng Index gained 166.47 points to finish at 23,117.47, and the Shanghai Stock Exchange Composite Index rose by 0.55 point to reach 2,030.50 in mainland China.
The Singapore Straits Times Index also increased 5.77 points to end the day at 3,305.20.
In Viet Nam, the VN-Index closed up 6.57 points at 565.61 on the HCM City Stock Exchange, while the HNX-Index slid 0.24 point to end at 75.62 on the Ha Noi bourse. — VNS
