HA NOI (Biz Hub) — Japanese stocks rebounded on Wednesday after falling across the board on the previous trading day, while other stock indices ended mixed in Asia.

The Tokyo Stock Exchange Tokyo Price Index closed up 10.34 points to reach 1,239.07, and the Nikkei 225 ended 74.68 points higher at 15,069.48.

In Viet Nam, the VN-Index maintained the upward move, closing up 3.47 points at 570.36 on the HCM City Stock Exchange. The HNX-Index rallied, adding 0.96 point to end at 75.92, on the Ha Noi market.

While the Hong Kong Hang Seng Index dropped 58.45 points to finish at 23,257.29, in mainland China, the Shanghai Stock Exchange Composite Index continued to increase, gaining 2.42 points to end at 2,054.95.

In Singapore, the Straits Times Index lost another 8.28 points to close at 3,285.54. — VNS
