Japanese stocks down across the board

HA NOI (Biz Hub) — Japanese stock indices dipped on Tuesday, with Tokyo Stock Exchange's Tokyo Price Index sliding 6.05 points to close at 1,228.7 and the Nikkei 225 dropping 129.20 points to reach 14,994.80.

Singapore's Straits Times Index also edged down 11.08 points to end the day at 3,294.12.

Viet Nam's benchmark VN-Index inched up 1.28 points to close at 566.89 on the HCM City Stock Exchange, while the HNX-Index fell for the second day this week by 0.66 point to end at 74.95.

Stocks rose significantly in mainland China, with the Shanghai Stock Exchange Composite Index adding 22.03 points to reach 2,052.53. The Hong Kong Hang Seng Index increasing 198.27 points to reach 23,315.74. — VNS
