National bourses end mixed

HA NOI – Stock indexes closed mixed across the southern and northern bourses early this morning. In Ha Noi Stock Exchange, the HNX-Index saw a light increase while VN-Index shed value.

In HCM City, the VN-Index closed this morning's session with a decrease of 1.4 points (0.29 per cent) to close at 475.79 points.

The southern bourses saw a total trading volume of 20 million shares, worth VND366.2 billion.

In the southern bourse, a decline of blue chips dragged the VN-Index down, with investors remaining cautious in the first trading session.

By 9:35 am, the VN-Index rebounded due to a large number of shares changing hands. However, selling pressure continued as many sellers attempted to sell off shares as quick as possible.

Today is the last trading day for PVF stocks before it was officially de-listed. This stock is still active among investors buouyed by strong liquidity.

There were 81 gainers, 67 remain unchanged and 81 decliners in HCM City Stock Exchange.

On the Ha Noi bourse, the HNX-Index closed the morning's session up, increasing 0.03 per cent to 59.19 points. – VNS
