HA NOI (Biz Hub) —Asian shares closed with mixed results yet again on Friday. In Ha Noi, the HNX Index crawled up by 0.78 points to finish at 63.12, however, in HCM City, the VN Index did a bit better by climbing 9.52 points to close on 493.99
Investors in China faced losses when China's benchmark Shanghai Composite Index fell by 33.50 points to end at 2,039.49, and the Hang Seng Index in Hong Kong saw a decrease of 145.81 points to finish at 21,291.68. Singaporean shares also edged higher, with the Straits Times Index gaining12.86 points to close 3,236.1.
Also on the up, the Nikkei 225 in Tokyo added 33.67 points to conclude trading at 14,506.25 and the Topix Index also gained 7.22 points to end at 1,201.99. — VNS
