HA NOI (Biz Hub) — Asian shares fell on Wednesday. In Ha Noi, the HNX Index lost 0. 13 points to 63.07, while in HCM City, the VN Index lost 2.49 points to close at 487.35.
The benchmark Shanghai Composite Index lost 12.29 points to end at 1,994.27, while the Hang Seng Index in Hong Kong lost 511.34 points to 20,147.31. Singaporean shares also ended lower, with the Straits Times Index losing 43.83 points to 3,129.5.
In Tokyo, the Nikkei 225 lost 43.18 points to 14,055.56 while the Topix index added 1.97 points to 1,173.81. — VNS
