HA NOI (Biz Hub) —Asian shares closed mixed on Wednesday. In Ha Noi, the HNX Index declined 0.15 points to finish at 62.43, while in HCM City, the VN Index lost 1.07 points to close on 484.43.
China's benchmark Shanghai Composite Index gained 42.67 points to end at 2,008.13, and the Hang Seng Index in Hong Kong added 227.79 points to finish at 20,910.80 . Singaporean shares also edged higher, with the Straits Times Index rising 9.41 points to reach 3,188.
In Tokyo, the Nikkei 225 lost 56.30 points to conclude trading at 14,416.60 , while the Topix Index also lost 1.69 points to end at 1,195.20. — VNS
