HA NOI (Biz Hub) —Asian shares closed mixed on Friday. The HNX Index gained 0.19 points to finish at 63.16, while the VN Index climbed 6.92 points to close on 503.76 in HCM City.
In China, the benchmark Shanghai Composite Index lost 30.75 points to end at 1,992.65, however the Hang Seng Index in Hong Kong added 17.20 points to end at 21,362.42. The Straits Times Index declined 4.94 points to close at 3,213.3.
Tokyo shares also ended lower when the Nikkei 225 slipped 218.59 to end at 14,589.91, while the Topix Index lost 10.03 points to end at 1,211.98. — VNS
