| Tokyo stocks ends 0.64 percent higher on Tuesday. |
HA NOI (Biz Hub) —Asian shares ended mixed on Tuesday. The HNX Index lost 0.03 points to finish at 63 but the the VN Index fared slightly better in HCM City, climbing 2.12 points to close on 496.22.
In China, the benchmark Shanghai Composite Index gained 6.33 points to end at 2,065.72, while the Hang Seng Index in Hong Kong added 36.12 points to reach 21,339.43. Singaporean shares were down with the Straits Times Index slipping 12.87 points to close at 3,223.95.
After the Marine Day national holiday, the Nikkei 225 in Tokyo added 82.97 to end at 14,599.12, while the Topix Index added 8.55 to reach 1,210.54. — VNS
