HA NOI (Biz Hub) — Most Asian shares fell on Tuesday after posting gains yesterday.
In Ha Noi, the HNX Index rose 0.11 points to 65.49, while in HCM City the VN Index lost 2.61 points to close at 521.95.
In China, the benchmark Shanghai Composite Index lost 29.86 points to end at 2,210.90, and investors in Hong Kong saw losses when the Hang Seng Index fell 260.43 points to 21,354.66.
Shares in Singapore also closed lower with the Straits Times Index down 30.13 points to 3,170.38.
In Tokyo, the Nikkei 225 lost 196.58 points to 13,317.62 and the Topix index declined 10.82 points to 1,101.15. — VNS
