HA NOI (Biz Hub) —Asian shares ended mixed again on Thursday. The HNX Index lost 0.28 points to finish at 62.97, while the VN Index declined 0.66 points to close on 496.84 in HCM City.
In China, the benchmark Shanghai Composite Index lost 21.53 points to end at 2,023.40, while the Hang Seng Index in Hong Kong lost 13.43 points to 21,358.44. Investors in Singapore, on the other hand, gained with the Straits Times Index climbing 9.87 points to close at 3,218.20.
As was the case in Singapore, Tokyo shares ended the day higher when the Nikkei 225 added 193.46 to end at 14,808.50, while the Topix Index added 8.77 to reach 1,222.01. — VNS
