HA NOI (Biz Hub) —Asian shares ended mixed again on Wednesday. The HNX Index gained 0.25 points to finish at 63.25, while the VN Index climbed 1.28 points to close on 497.50 in HCM City.
In China, the benchmark Shanghai Composite Index lost 20.80 points to end at 2,044.92, but the Hang Seng Index in Hong Kong added 44.01 points to reach 21,356.39. Singaporean shares were down with the Straits Times Index slipping 16.63 points to close at 3,208.33
Investors in Tokyo should be fine when the Nikkei 225 in Tokyo added 15.92 to end at 14,615.04, while the Topix Index added 2.70 to reach 1,213.24. — VNS
