Nam Dương International Food Company Limited on Friday in HCM City signed an agreement with LNS International Joint Stock Company to export its spicy products to the US market.

The strategic partnership signing marks a significant milestone for the two enterprises as they achieve new progress in business operations, successfully penetrating the US market and bringing the culinary culture of Việt Nam to the world.

Under the partnership, Nam Dương will export to the US market premium Nam Dương soy sauce, Nam Dương Sriracha chili sauce, and Nam Dương minced garlic chili sauce.

Through LNS, Nam Dương products are continually expanding their presence in supermarkets, according to the company.

To achieve this milestone, both companies underwent a meticulous process of selecting partners, preparation, and in-depth research on products, consumer preferences, and quality standards, as well as devising market access strategies.

Hồ Diệp Anh Khôi, general director of Nam Dương International Food Company Limited, said: "For Nam Dương and LNS, the partnership story will not merely stop at placing products on supermarket shelves. In the medium term, in addition to continuing to enhance manufacturing and trading activities of core products, Nam Dương will collaborate with LNS to implement research and development activities on other product lines tailored to the market's preferences.”

Furthermore, he said, the two companies would also intensify branding and direct marketing activities at point of sales or through trade fairs to gradually introduce more Nam Dương branded product lines to US consumers, confirming that in addition to the US, they would continue to discuss and seek opportunities to expand into other markets.

Nam Dương's production plant in HCM City has total investment of US$25.6 million, is equipped with modern facilities and production processes, advanced machinery, and enjoys strengths in research and development based on inheriting long-standing experience and production secrets since 1951.

The company has also obtained international certifications for quality standards, food safety, and community responsibility, enabling it to quickly comply with the regulations of the US Food Safety Modernisation Act (FSMA) and rigorous quality standards to penetrate demanding markets worldwide.

Prior to the US, Nam Dương products have successfully entered many large markets around the world, including Canada, Japan, South Korea, New Zealand, Taiwan, Australia and Russia, among others.

According to the latest studies of Fortune Business Insight, the global soy sauce market is expected to reach $56.7 billion by 2027.

In the United States, Vietnamese spices, including soy sauce, have high growth potential due to their harmonious flavours with Asian-European dishes. – VNS
