Global consumer health leader GlaxoSmithKline Consumer Healthcare Vietnam Company Limited (Haleon Vietnam) on Tuesday officially introduced Centrum, a famous multivitamin brand, to the Vietnamese market.
The company is introducing Centrum dietary supplement products and Centrum Silver 50+ dietary supplement products that include more than 20 vitamins and minerals, offering Vietnamese consumers a convenient way to get essential nutrients to support their overall health and well-being.
Lê Thị Mai Linh, chairwoman and general director of Haleon Vietnam said: "Understanding that health is an important foundation in the development of individuals, families and society, we want to empower Vietnamese consumers to take care of their health holistically. In line with our purpose to deliver better everyday health to consumers, we will continue to partner with healthcare experts to increase awareness of health conditions that can be self-managed, and we aim to bring more of our wellness products to individuals and families, with the ultimate goal of making everyday health more achievable, more inclusive, and more sustainable for everyone in Việt Nam."
Centrum's product launch press conference event brought together the participation of leading doctors and nutritionists together with industry partners to take part in the educational campaign "Complete nutrient for complete life", which included intensive seminars as well as physical activities.
As part of the education campaign, Centrum will roll out informative content on digital and social channels including YouTube and Facebook, as well as in-store displays in traditional and chain pharmacies, and health and beauty stores.
According to a report by the National Institute of Nutrition under Ministry of Health, malnutrition or micronutrient deficiency is one of the three nutritional burdens that the Vietnamese population is facing.
Health risks caused by micronutrient deficiency include hair loss, loss of appetite, muscle weakness, fatigue, immunodeficiency, and aching bones and joints. In order to prevent such risks, nutritionists recommend balanced meals with a full range of meat, vegetables, tubers and fruits to ensure the necessary vitamins and minerals to help minimize micronutrient deficiency.
Backed by over 40 years of science, Centrum multivitamin pills undergo many rigorous quality checks with a three-zero formula: gluten-free, not genetically modified and no artificial sweeteners. Centrum provides more than 20 essential vitamins and minerals, including groups of Vitamin B, C, D, Zinc, magnesium, and calcium, offering a complete and easy way for consumers to meet their health and wellness needs. — VNS
