Asia’s first metasearch engine for insurance and banking products, GoBear, has come to Viet Nam.

Viet Nam is the sixth market where the company is offering its free online product comparison.

“GoBear was formed as an online tool to help users search for complex financial products in a transparent and unbiased way,” Andre Hesselink, GoBear founder and CEO, said.

“We provide a transparent overview of the market, and with our personalised search and filter functions, consumers can have a side-by-side comparison easily based on their needs. This new way of searching for financial products is new to Asia.”

GoBear Viet Nam launched with comparisons between nearly 200 credit cards and 30 lending facilities from 50 banks and finance companies.

The engine was launched in Singapore in 2015, and has since expanded to Thailand, Malaysia, the Philippines and Hong Kong.

It has attracted more than 4.5 million users, the company said. — VNS
