Tetra Pak Vietnam, a leading global company specialising in food processing and packaging solutions, has reaffirmed its commitment to investing in Việt Nam.

The company is dedicated to delivering top-quality products and solutions, advancing sustainability initiatives, and driving innovation to address the evolving needs of the country.

This commitment was expressed during the celebration of the company's 30th anniversary in Việt Nam.

“Our commitment to this market has never been stronger. We are expanding our packaging material factory in Bình Dương and anticipate the new line to be fully commissioned by the second quarter of next year. With this, we hope to continue to serve our customers with excellence and, together, we can capture new opportunities and accelerate growth,” said Tatiana Liceti, executive vice president market operations, Tetra Pak.

"During these 30 years, the company’s priority has been to understand the particularities of the market, respond to the local reality and meet the needs of our customers, and Tetra Pak is ready to continue doing so for many years to come," she added.

According to Tatiana Liceti, Tetra Pak sees significant growth opportunities in Southeast Asia, particularly in Việt Nam, where dairy products, including milk, play a crucial role in people’s diets. The rising demand for high-quality, hygienically packaged on-the-go beverages aligns with the expanding young and middle-class population in the region.

Founded in Sweden by visionary Ruben Rausing, Tetra Pak introduced the groundbreaking Tetra Classic that addressed market and consumer needs at the time.

The anniversary ceremony hosted discussions on the modernisation of Việt Nam’s food and beverage sector, particularly focusing on the impact of UHT milk processing in ensuring food safety during the country’s economic progress.

Representatives explored cutting-edge global processing technologies to enhance production efficiency, cost optimisation, and access to safe food.

Attendees received insights into Tetra Pak’s unwavering commitment to food safety and availability in Việt nam and the wider region. They were also briefed on the latest packaging solutions designed to extend product shelf life without the need for preservatives or refrigeration.

The event showcased advanced solutions and innovations, including co-creation opportunities through the Product Development Centre. Additionally, Tetra Pak experts discussed the potential of Tetra Recart and highlighted the Tetra Pak E3/Speed Hyper, the world’s fastest carton packaging machine capable of producing up to 40,000 packages per hour while minimising space requirements. — VNS
