A beverage company, TCP Vietnam, has announced a collaboration with the Vietnam Youth Federation and Vietnam National Volunteer Centre to implement the "Community Sport Yard - Energising Vietnamese Youth" programme.

The programme aims to renovate and improve the quality of sport yards, transforming them into sports structures that meet practical needs.

To start in October 2024 in HCM City, it will make each yard at least 1,000sq.m and design it to meet the community's exercise needs by leveling the ground and equipping it with football, basketball, badminton, and outdoor fitness equipment.

In 2020-22 and 2023-25, TCP Vietnam and the Vietnam Youth Federation have closely co-ordinated for various initiatives and programmes in various fields to benefit society and youth in particular.

At least 30 per cent of adults lack physical exercise due to a shortage of community spaces for it.
