Eaton announces new country manager and new office in Việt Nam

Power management firm Eaton has appointed Trần Mai Hương as its country manager to help ensure the successful implementation of Eaton's business strategy in Việt Nam.

Jimmy Yam, vice president and general manager for Eaton's Electrical Sector in East Asia, said: “I am thrilled to announce the opening of our new office and the appointment of our country manager. With this expansion, we aim to provide our customers with innovative solutions that not only optimise production costs, but also support their transition to green energy. Our commitment to sustainability is unwavering, and we believe that these efforts will contribute to a more sustainable economy and help combat climate change.”

Prior to Eaton, Hương was vice president of one of the biggest global power management companies in Việt Nam. She has over 20 years of IT experience and well-established trust among Việt Nam's IT community and ICT market, as well as possessing a proven record of substantial business acumen and experience developing strategic initiatives and managing workers for giant technologies companies in Việt Nam.

Eaton has also opened a new office in Hà Nội. The new office will serve as a strategic hub for the intelligent power management company's operations in Việt Nam. Eaton also serves customers in the rapidly expanding southern region of Việt Nam with an office in HCM City.

The firm was founded in 1911 and has been listed on the New York Stock Exchange for more than a century. The company reported revenues of US$23.2 billion in 2023 and serves customers in more than 160 countries. — VNS
