Phu Nhuan Jewelry JSC (HOSE : PNJ) achieved in the first 10 months VND510 billion (US$22.6 million) in pre-tax profit, 110 per cent over its year’s target and up 33 per cent over the same period in 2015.

The profit was resulted from a total turnover of VND6,725 billion, up 15 per cent from the figure of last year’s first 10 months.

Last week the company was ranked among the Top 10 Most Sustainable Businesses in Viet Nam 2016 by the Viet Nam Chamber of Commerce and Industry and Viet Nam Business Council for Sustainable Development, based on criteria including prestige, capacity to attract human resource, growth potential and corporate social responsibility and others. It is the single jewelry company in the list.

PNJ operates a jewelry products workshop in HCM City and a network of 226 retail shops in 47 out of 63 cities and provinces of Viet Nam.— VNS
