Nghi Sơn Refinery and Petrochemical LLC (NSRP) has announced surpassing 15 million safe work hours without accidents. Alongside this achievement, NSRP has successfully delivered diesel oil 10ppm into the domestic market for the first time.

In recent years, NSRP has actively improved its corporate governance structure and implemented various transformation initiatives to ensure refinery operations' stability and maximise long-term gains. The company has also consistently reinforced regulations and standards to prioritise security and safety, minimising risks across all factory operations.

On March 15, NSRP sold the 10ppm diesel product for the first time in the domestic market. This product complies with the strictest emission standards, improving fuel efficiency and reducing engine maintenance.

Additionally, to serve growing demand for petroleum products in the domestic market, NSRP is focusing on researching technical solutions to increase the plant’s capacity by 15 to 20 per cent compared to the present.

“We have been operating the refinery at over 100 per cent capacity, and the planned increase of 15 to 20 per cent in the refinery's capacity will further ensure a stable supply of petroleum products,” said So Hasegawa, NSPR General Director.

With a production capacity of 200,000 barrels of crude oil per day, NSRP is a major manufacturer of petroleum products for the Vietnamese market. – VNS
