Viettel Group became the second strongest telecommunications brand in the world, according to Brand Finance’s Annual Brand Value Ranking, reported the group on Tuesday.
Viettel's Brand Strength Index (BSI) reached 89.4/100, rated AAA - the highest level in years and increased 4.2 points compared to 2023.
The index is the most important factor creating Viettel's brand value of approximately US$9 billion, helping the group maintain its position as the number one telecommunications brand in Southeast Asia, ranking at ninth place in Asia and promoted one spot in world ranking to level 16.

Currently, Viettel maintains its position as the most comprehensive digital ecosystem provider today with six foundation areas: digital infrastructure, digital solutions, digital finance, digital content, cyber security and high technology manufacturing.
Viettel's digital solutions and services hold the number one market share in health, education, and provincial governance. Viettel is also the core force ensuring cyber security in Việt Nam.
In addition, Viettel built a sustainable development report with the theme "Technology with Heart" last year, focusing on six key areas of high-quality human resources, digital society, information security, climate change, smart green data centres, and transparent and responsible governance.
